A borrowed Ella Fitzgerald record changed everything. Sydney spent years studying phrasing in smoky clubs, sitting in with local trios and learning to bend a lyric until it broke your heart.

Today, Sydney blends soul, blues, and classic jazz into something entirely hers — a sound that fills a room without ever raising its voice.
Artistic Vision
Sydney believes a great performance isn't about filling a room with volume — it's about drawing a room in close. Her sets are built like conversations: patient, honest, full of pauses that let a lyric land.
